During this period, as life long friends we provided practical and emotional support for each other and one of the most useful practical elements was the provision of a care package. These packs became a lifeline for us as exhausted parents as we were able to access food and personal provisions without leaving our hospital room.
After spending long periods of time in the hospital and chatting to other families, we began to realize the tremendous need to support the countless families who face traumatic and exhausting hospital stays with their family members. Over the following months, as two connected families we began to provide random packages to friends and families in need as we were able. With each and every pack distributed we bacame more convicted and passionate about making a difference to the famlies in our very own community whoh needed our help. To each and every famliy who recieves a pack we hope to be a tangible and practical expression of love and loving arms.
This has led to Love n Arms being where it is today.....
